Yesterday was a beautiful day at the beach. The temperature at our house was going to be in the high 90’s, ICK! The temperature at the beach was going to be in the mid 70’s, much better. I don’t do well in the heat.
My hubby had a few things to do in the morning, so we didn’t leave until afternoon. While he was getting his things tended to I sewed while waiting.
I got this little basket ready with leader/ender parts. Then next time I sit down to sew I will have these cuties to use in between what I’m working on as a main project.
I also played with these fabrics. I can’t show you what they will become yet. Stay tuned.
So after playing with fabric, and eating lunch it was off to the beach. Yeah!! The day was beautiful.
Toes in the sand and a rock to sit on to enjoy the sites and sounds of the beach. As I sat and enjoyed my surroundings, thoughts began to form about a new quilt.
Today we go get our daughter at college and bring her home for the summer.
